The Defence and Police Officers’ Wives Association (DEPOWA) in conjunction with Maxima System Services Limited have organized a two day training session to sensitize members on current challenges on protocol, etiquette and administration. This is to help their statutory roles as wives in support of their spouses. Major presentations in the course of the training included series of lectures, case studies and roles played on topical issues.
Declaring the occasion open, the DEPOWA President, Mrs. Omobolanle Olonisakin stated that the training was timely as the lessons learnt would be replicated in the lives and experiences of the Nigerian Armed Forces and Police families. She said “we are women of integrity.
The ways we behave speak volume. This is just a refresher training that will help our statutory roles as wives in support of our husbands and uplift our association. At the end of the training, our conduct will change for better”, she concluded. The members expressed confidence that the training would positively impact on their lives and the administration.
