Defence Headquarters, has lauded the efforts of the Federal Road Safety Commission for their effort in curbing insecurity in the country.
The Director, Defence Information, Major General John Enenche, gave the commendation during a courtesy visit on the Corp Marshal, Federal Road Safety Commission, Dr. Boboye Oyeyemi to seek for more collaboration in Information sharing.
While commending the ICT development at the Headquarters FRSC in Abuja, the Defence Spokesman said that the FRSC assisted the military to tackle Small arms and light weapon proliferation in Southern part of Kaduna state.
On his part, the Corps Marshal Federal Road Safety Commission, Dr. Boboye Oyeyemi who applauded the proficiency exhibited by the military in tackling insurgency in the North East, thanked the military in Capacity building of its personnel. He however, appealed to the military to always corporate with the FRSC by obeying traffic laws for a cordial relationship between military and the corps.
The visit was part of Major General John Enenche’s drive to solicit for support of other security agencies to work towards a safer Nigeria.
