NLNG BOSS EULOGISES MILITARY ON NATIONAL SECURITY

The Managing Director of the Nigeria Liquefied Natural Gas (NLNG), Babs Omotowa has commended the Nigerian Armed Forces for their sacrifices and protection of lives and property in Nigeria especially in the Niger Delta area wherever presence of the military has helped both oil and gas prospecting companies to thrive.12227650_882897875151002_5668576728309428868_n

Mr Omotowa made this commendation when he paid a courtesy call on the Chief of Defence Staff, General Gabriel Olonisakin at the Defence Headquarters, Abuja. He said that the security provided by the military has boosted the operations of his company and therefore used the opportunity of the visit to thank the Nigerian Armed Forces for living up to the expectations of the well-meaning Nigerians.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

10410604_882897781817678_2246439271165466840_nThe Managing Director said that aside the North East where Armed Forces have stood firmly against the challenges of terrorists, the military has been over the years playing a big role in stabilising the operations of oil and gas sectors which helps to boost the economic mainstay of the nation. He reiterated that with the enormous support received from the military, the NLNG has achieved a lot, saying “we won’t be able to achieve what we have achieved so far if not for the military”.

In his remarks, General Gabriel Olonisakin commended the achievement of the company for its contribution to the nation’s economy and reduction in gas flaring. He charged the organization not to relent in its effort to sustain Nigeria economy and its support for the military. He reiterated that the military will continue to provide safe environment for all and sundry. He therefore solicited for maximum cooperation of the NLNG with the military for optimum performance of both important sectors.
